The Carrollton High School girls' lacrosse team rallied to a 14-12 triumph over Whitewater in the spring finale on Thursday night at Grisham Stadium.
Trailing 9-6 at the half, the Lady Trojans (7-11) outscored the Lady Wildcats by an 8-3 count in the second half to end the season on a positive note.
Freshman Ansley Underwood led Carrollton with five goals, while Ansley Barge and Kaly Colquitt scored three apiece and Taylor Cox, Addie Robinson and Shae Hungerford netted one goal each. Hailey Alewine recorded 13 saves in goal.
"It was a great victory to end our season and kickstart us into our summer workouts for next year," Lady Trojan head coach Ashley DeWitt said.
