Carrollton JV shuts down East Coweta

The Carrollton High School junior-varsity football team delivered a dominant defensive effort in a 14-0 road victory over East Coweta on Thursday evening to improve to 2-0 on the season.

The Trojans opened the scoring on an 18-yard run by quarterback Myles Morris and Mason Dill's PAT made it 7-0 with 2:58 remaining in the first quarter.

Carrollton stretched the score to 14-0 at the 8:46 mark of the second quarter on a 10-yard touchdown run by Montarious Banks and another Dill kick through the uprights.

Keun Walker, Jr. intercepted an East Coweta pass in the closing seconds of the fourth quarter to seal the deal.

The Trojans play host to Alexander next Thursday.
